Our P3/4 pupils have been busy outdoors, learning how to grow and care for plants from seed to harvest. Through hands-on activities, they explored the life cycle of plants, developed teamwork skills, and enjoyed the rewarding experience of harvesting the fruits of their hard work. Outdoor learning brought science to life while helping children build confidence, responsibility, and a deeper connection with nature.
The children had a fantastic time developing their skills, teamwork, and confidence through a range of fun and engaging activities with Coach Darren. It was wonderful to see everyone participating enthusiastically, challenging themselves, and enjoying being active. Well done, everyone!
P6/7 have been loving their topic - Famous Artists. This week they looked closely at the work of Antonio Gaudi before creating their own 3D constructions. Everyone worked excellently and build some beautiful buildings (and a chameleon...)!
P6/7 have had lots of fun exploring some practical phonics. It has been a lovely opportunity to identify our target sound in a new way while getting hands on experiences.
P5 have been working hard at poetry for their writing genre focus this term. Check out some of their amazing acrostic poems based on the Blitz!
