P1/2's Super Sunflower's
As part of their topic on The Farm, Primary 1 and 2 had a fantastic time planting their very own sunflower seeds this week with Miss O'Brien. The children loved getting their hands messy as they filled their pots, tucked in their seeds, and gave them a gentle first watering.
This hands‑on activity helped them learn about how plants grow and what they need to stay healthy, just like the crops they’ve been exploring in class.
We are all very excited to care for our sunflowers and watch them grow over the coming months. We can’t wait to see whose sunflower will stretch the tallest!
